Week 32 Update: Final 3 Weeks Countdown Begin!

I cannot believe we have made it through week 32- another significant milestone in triplets pregnancy!  A Biophysical Profile (BBP) Test is usually performed at this gestational age.  BBP combines ultrasound evaluation with a Non-Stress Test (NST) and is intended to determine the fetal health during the third trimester.  5 specific fetal attributes (breathing, movement, muscle tone, heart rate, and amniotic fluid) are studied and scored during the BBP.  For more information about BBP, please visit http://americanpregnancy.org/prenatal-testing/biophysical-profile/ .

Below is some updates about our 3 beanies at our week 32 check up.

Beanie #1 (Baby A):
Position: Right Lateral (Cephalic)
Average size: 32.9 weeks
BBP score: 8/8 Normal*
Est. weight: 1,990gm (45 percentile) - Beat baby C and has become our new GIANT.

Beanie #2 (Baby B):
Position: Left Lateral (Cephalic)
Average size: 31.1 weeks
BBP score: 8/8 Normal*
Est. weight: 1,600gm (10 percentile) - Still the smallest of all.  Growth rate continue to slow, but our OB is not concern as it's common for one or more triplets to measure smaller than normal.  Grow baby grow!!!

Beanie #3 (Baby C):
Position: Top Transverse (Right to Left)
Average size: 32.2 weeks
BBP score: 8/8 Normal*
Est. weight: 1,880gm (35 percentile) - At PAR.  Baby C was our GIANT at week 30.

Overall:
All babies appear to do well and so does Fion.  Thank goodness.  A score of 8/8 is a perfect score, which is very reassuring.  YAY!!!

Alright.  This is a quick update on our beanies.  We are just 3 weeks or 18 days away from our scheduled cesarean (C-Section).  So, let the countdown begin!  Grow beanies grow...!!!
