The BIG Move - Part 1/2

I briefly mentioned about our BIG move in my previous post.  YES - we have bought and moved!!!  Where?  One of North America's most highly populated cities - Toronto!  So, goodbye suburb commute, moo moo cow and no-line-up gasoline / grocery shopping...

Well, this BIG move will be staged in two parts.  Part 1 is to gather all our belongings and move to our "temporary" home - Elsa's basement apartment - while our new home will be closed and renovated.  So, don't be surprised if you find the background settings of our upcoming pictures different from the previous ones.  Part 2 will be the move into our new home as soon as the renovation of our new home is completed - which may take up to several months.  This all depends on the scope of work that needs to completed and construction timeline.

In preparation for the BIG move, Fion and I have been working very hard packing and cleaning. We realized we have accumulated so much junkies (and goodies) during our last seven years living in our existing home.  There appears to have redundancy in almost every single item in the house, from cooking oil to laundry detergent...  I guess this is what will happen when a prepper married to a hoarder, and live just steps away from the bulk sale giant Costco - A perfect combination for supplies overloaded.  XOX...

Below are some of the pics we took during our pre-moving days...  One word to sum them all - CHAOTIC!!!  Our house looked a bit like the house you find on the reality TV show: Hoarders: Buried Alive!

Chaos #1 - Our 8ft wide foyer was reduced to just a small walkway

Chaos #2 - Our lovely living room filled with moving boxes (Left - past | Right - present)

Chaos #3 - Our beanies' feeding area

Chaos #4 - Our beanies' play area are filled with layers of dust (Left - past | Right - present)

Yet, our triplet routine lives continue...  Let's take a look at how the beanies are doing during our move preparation.

E.S.C. all wanted a piece of the train

The 3 beanies are trying to stop a moving train - I am a bit surprised to see how they are doing this in such synchronized manner

Train stopped.  Ethan immediately go after the frog located at the end of the cargo.  Frog in mouth - GROSSSSS...

Cedric + Ethan

Some of you who follow us on Facebook and Instagram regularly may have already know that Ethan has developed a flat spot on the right side of his head (plagiocephaly).  Fortunately, Ethan's condition is considered mild and can be treated by wearing a corrective helmet for 23 hours a day for a period of approximately 4 months.  If time permits, I will write a more detailed post regarding this.  Let's us all try to get used to the new look of Ethan!

E.S.C. (Noticed the purple helmet on Ethan's head)

Skylar and Cedric inquisitively staring at Ethan's helmet...  I believe that they were having trouble recognizing their brother?  "Who is this funny looking boy playing in our court?" C+S thought.

Skylar can't resist the temptation and decide to move in and have a feel of the helmet

Surprisingly, Ethan doesn't seem to be bothered by the helmet.  It fits snugly around his head.

Skylar figured to use Ethan's gigantic head to play hide-and-seek with the cameraman

Cute Ethan is looking super adorable with his helmet...  LOvE this look!

OK.  This is a short post in comparison to some of my previous posts.  I will continue to provide update on how the beanies are doing whenever time permits...  I hope you all enjoy this post.
