The Triplets 100 Days Celebration

Some of you might think this is a long overdue posting as the celebration should've been done when the boys were about a month old in accordance to the Chinese tradition.  However, the 100 days celebration work better for us as we wanted to plan for this celebration party properly.  Also, since the boys were born 4 weeks early,  they were still quite tiny at one month, and so, we decided to go with the 100 days celebration. A little wisdom learnt from parenting triplets - "Be patient.  Expect Nothing and Appreciate Everything..." Quote origin unknown - Good thing in life is worth waiting for...  Right?

Since this was a special day for the boys, we changed the boys in a new set of outfit. Fion and I are both BIG fan of Walt Disney.  The origin of this could be trace back to our 1st trip went together as a couple to Disney World.  Later, we returned to Disney to celebrate our honeymoon. Yet, our love and fantasy with Disney didn't end there.  We would certainly bring the boys back to Disney World when they are a little older. Oh well, guess this will take some time, so let's wish this day will come sooner!!!

Skylar in his Mickey outfit

Cedric in his Mickey outfit

Ethan in his Mickey outfit

Skylar close up.  He is such a big boy now...  tripled his weight in just little over 3 months!  Although still behind from any full term baby, his development is considered supreme in the triplets realm.

Cedric close up.  Simply say, this is an inflated version of his twin brother Syklar.  Period. Cedric is our heaviest boy, a title he took over from Ethan shortly after birth (Ethan was born the heaviest).  One question we heard people asking a lot is "OMG.  Look at his hair.  Did you style his hair???"  The answer: "Of course not!" Both Cedric and Skylar were born with a Mohawk look.  It doesn't matter if we tried to tame it, their hair just stay right up - even after bath!  x_X

Ethan close up.  Ethan is our drama king.  He can be easily identified by his tennis ball head at birth.  His hair has grown thicker since birth, but it is nothing when compared to his brothers.

The party took place at Glow Fresh Grill and Wine Bar located at the Shop at Don Mills.  Our original plan was to arrive at the venue to setup before the arrival of the invited parties.  But know what, our travel plan never went as planned...  We once again, arriving to the venue late, almost an hour from our planned arrival time.  This is something we need to work on!
Arriving the party...  Strangely, we were welcomed by a round applause...  From what I can remember, the last time we got that was during the boys' first ever Christmas party at my company's childrens' party.

Everyone cannot wait to see the boys

Skylar is the first one up and thinking why he was surrounded by all of these people

A reception table decorated with Fion made picture frame and birth announcements.  Needless to say that the theme here is the Disney Animal Kingdom

Baby Mickeys helium balloons to fill the background

In addition to the birth announcement (made from the boys' one month old photo session with Mary-Anne Ferry), we also prepared some favors for our guests to take home.

A close up of the favors - home made sugar cookies (lemon and chocolate spice flavors) sponsored by Rachel Cheng.  The boys' name were manually iced on every cookie with different animals from the Safari.  A BIG WARM thank you to Rachel for her contribution!!!  THANK YOU!!!

A beautiful private room with one long table.  The monitors at the end of the table were running a slideshow of the boys

The boys are out of their stroller.  Fion and I were having a real hard time tracking our boys...  They were tossed around the table and created a lot of buzz...
